About Us

Operating since 2008

Having used Self storage in Alaska in 1996, the founder Kevin Doyle, opened a small facility in Topcliffe, North Yorkshire in July 2008

After the credit crunch had settled in 2014 he secured some funding to purchase Scarborough and Northallerton.

In order to accelerate growth, outside funding was obtained from his old Friend, Tim Slade, co-founder of the Fat Face clothing brand.

Since then growth has been accelerated and continues to do so.

As long as we continue to be innovative, offer value for money and stick to our mantra, “The answers’s yes!”, the two friends see no reason why the growth should not continue.

It’s a very busy and exciting time for our brand and we want to hire intelligent, enthusiastic, innovative individuals who can become part of an exciting team leading us forward.

We are looking for ideas people who can help us make self storage a household word and make mylockup a household name.

Our philosophy

Our philosophy is simple, provide a great service at competitive prices and we will keep busy.

Because we own the freehold of our sites (with the bank) it means that we can remain competitive yet still offer a great service.

We are not here today gone tomorrow, we care passionately about giving you the best prices, the best security and the best service for your goods… the answer’s always YES

It’s a fast pace to offer “your space in our place”.
